“Harmony among the major faiths has become an essential ingredient of peaceful coexistence in our world. From this perspective, mutual understanding among these traditions is not merely the business of religious believers – it matters for the welfare of humanity as a whole.” (Source: The Dalai Lama,In “The Faith Divide” by Eboo Patel, The Washington Post, February 7, 2009)

Informing and working with congregations to promote interfaith respect, communication, cooperation and relationships is an important focus for TIA. We ask participating congregations to identify a TIA communication liaison person and to have congregation members participate the TIA Annual Dinner, Amazing Faiths Dinner Dialogues, book studies, and interfaith events. TIA supports congregations in the sponsorship of Amazing Faiths Dinner Dialogues, book studies, and other organized efforts to increase interfaith respect and relationships. Suggested donation $100.00 or more.
Supporting interfaith communication and cooperation is a societal issue that impacts all organizations and institutions. We encourage secular organizations and institutions to support interfaith values and work. Organizations/institutions are asked to identify a communication liaison and to share relevant information in the work place. Suggested donation $100.00 or more
A Sponsor is an individual, organization or congregation that can contribute at a significant level in support of interfaith work and values. In addition to receiving all the benefits of other membership levels, TIA Sponsors will be identified on the TIA website homepage as “SPONSORS.” Sponsors may designate a specific event they wish to support, such as the Annual Dinner Meeting, the Amazing Faiths Dinner Dialogues, book studies, The Art & Music Festival (fall 2011), etc. Suggested donation is $250.00 or more. Please contact a TIA Board Member to further discuss being a TIA Sponsor.
