October 28th – Scriptual Reasoning
You are invited to join a gathering for Interfaith Scriptural Engagement. Scriptural Reasoning (SR) is a respected interfaith practice whereby individuals from different religious traditions read and reflect on short sacred texts together. Rather than seeking agreement, participants engage deeply with each other’s scriptures, exploring interpretations and differences with openness and respect.
Walk ins welcome! We will begin with a brief welcome and orientation, then small group scriptural reading and discussion and group reflection with shared insights. A curated set of short reading passages from diverse traditions will be provided. No prior experience is required – just a willingness to listen, reflect and engage thoughtfully.
